Ara has tabled at various events and festivals, including: Japan Festival Boston, Waltham Pride, and the Museum of Science Pride Celebration

Ara styled 9 models in various kimono styles for a Kimono Fashion Show during ShimoKita Bam Bam’s album release party in September 2023.

Ara provided kimono dressing for a NEJETAA event in October, 2022.

Ara styled 5 models for the Boston Kimono Festival in November 2022.

Ara provided dressing services to the hostess and gave a lecture about their time in Japan in February 2019.

Ara did a dressing demonstration at an Arthur Golden book reading and discussion event at the James Library & Center for the Arts on February 28th, 2016.

Ara organized one of the main events for Japan Festival Boston in 2021 – the Tea in Kimono event. Ara also provided the kimono dressing for all of the guests participating.

Ara did a live kimono dressing as part of a musical performance at Hojoko Boston with ShimoKita Bam Bam and Tokyo Tramps, February 2024.

Ara provided kimono for display for the José Mateo Ballet Theatre Dance Saturday event in March 2019.

Ara did a 4 minute kimono speed dressing demonstration at Japan Festival Boston in collaboration with ShimoKita Bam Bam, April 2024.

Gaijin Kitsuke, former Kimono Seikatsu project, put on a kimono fashion show at Northeastern University in April 2015.

Ara put on another fashion show at Northeastern University in April 2016.
